Dawn on Great Fountain GeyserFull NameDawn on Great Fountain Geyser, Yellowstone National ParkArtistTah MadsenDescriptionIt's dawn at the Great Fountain Geyser, one of Yellowstone's most exciting thermal features. Artist Tah Madsen captures this stunning spectacle in an original oil painting on canvas. The canvas measures 24" x 12" and is professionally framed using a beveled linen liner and classic embossed gold moulding measuring 17 1/2" x 30".The Great Fountain Geyser is a fountain-type geyser located in the Firehole Lake area of the Lower Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is the only predicted geyser in the Lower Geyser Basin. The geyser erupts every 9 to 15 hours to heights that range from about 75 feet to over 220 feet. The artist's use of soft, pleasing color and texture brings the composition to life to reveal one of Yellowstone's many natural and artistic wonders.
