Cavin Richie's bronze jewelry creations are wearable art. These beautiful castings are first carved in naturally shed elk antler or wooly mammoth ivory. Once the carving is completed it is molded using a silicon rubber compound. Hot wax is poured into the mold creating wax models. These are then cast in bronze using the "lost wax" method. The rough casting is chased, the findings are soldered on and the patina is applied resulting in a durable miniature bronze with a wide range of patinas that permanently hue it, creating colors usually only associated with larger bronzes. Each piece is a unique miniature sculpture with an earthy look that can be worn. Suitable for men, women, or children's adornment, a Cavin Richie creation would be a welcomed addition to your jewelry collection. Made in the USA!
