Airbrush painting uses a fine spray to apply paint to the substrate. Artist typically use stencils or paintbrushes and "mask" the substrate. Some artists use the more challenging method of "free-hand airbrushing which is done without the aid of stencils or paintbrushes. The result can result in unbelievable detail.
